Abstract

History is brought to life at Benjamin Franklin's house in London. From 1757 to 1775, Benjamin Franklin lived in Craven Street, London WC2. In January this year, his house at number 36 opened as a museum. In keeping with Franklin's contributions to science as well as political history, the museum features a science centre where students can repeat Franklin's London experiments themselves. There's more on Franklin, this time his contribution to medicine, on page 815.
