Abstract

Absorption measurements in the 1900–2100-Å region were carried out for oxygen heated to 900°K. Beer's law was not obeyed in general and was replaced by Goody's statistical band model, which was applied to small spectral intervals in the studied region. The spectral absorption coefficient and other band-model parameters were derived for this region.
