Abstract

The training of practitioners in Traditional Oriental Medicine has a history spanning from the Sung Dynasty (960 to 1279 C.E. or roughly thereabouts) to contemporary schools and colleges of Traditional Oriental Medicine in China, the United States, Canada, France, and other countries throughout the world. This article reviews relevant Web sites containing information about educational institutions, state regulatory commissions, national accreditation agencies, and development of Ph.D. programs in Acupuncture.
