Abstract

The theme for this issue of School Libraries Worldwide is evidence-based practice. As I reflected on the articles that make up this issue, I was reminded of the research done by Laurel A. Clyde over the past five years or so on research and researchers in school librarianship (see Clyde, 2001, for a description of that program of research).
