Cross Charlotte M. Cross Charlotte M. Cross holds a Ph.D. in historical musicology from Columbia University. She has taught at Columbia, Barnard College, and the Manhattan School of Music. In 2007 she was a fellow at the Mannes Institute for Advanced Studies in Music Theory. She is preparing translations of Schoenberg’s 1925 Gedanke manuscripts for publication.
