Scheme for implementing efficient quantum information processing with multiqubit W-class states in cavity QED

Abstract

We present a new class of multiqubit W states, which are useful for efficient quantum information processing. By using these states we propose schemes of quantum teleportation, dense coding and information splitting. We also discuss the preparation and detection of the multiqubit W states.
