Abstract

The reuse of rockets is one of the most important methods to reduce launch costs. Based on the design scheme of the “Roton” space helicopter, this paper proposes a recovery method for rockets - rotors, which can not only accurately control the landing posture but also have high fuel utilization. To recover the first stage of the rocket, this paper carries out the scheme design and sets up the landing deceleration action with the engine reverse thrust and rotor lift. The simulation result shows that the scheme allows the first stage of the rocket to land safely, which provides a theoretical reference for engineering development in the future.
