Abstract

We use a recent calculation of the QCD R ratio to O(α3s) in the MS scheme, to investigate the differences between the PMS, ▪, and effective charge approaches for fixing the renormalization scheme. Estimates for ΛMS are given by fitting to combined PETRA and PEP data.
