Abstract

Photovoltaic (PV) system which is connected to the grid is one of the smooth grid system area that provides profusely of prospect for additional enhancement. Though from grid harmonizing technique, pulse width modulation (PWM) performance act as a crucial parameter in assembling the grid. This paper proposes the scheme and simulation of Sinusoidal PWM (SPWM) and Space vector PWM (SVPWM) based on two level three phase voltage source inverter (VSI). The simulation results are presented in MATLAB software and the results are validated with the earlier literature. The comparative analysis is being performed among PWM approaches with respect to DC voltage and THD. SVPWM proved to be more effective than SPWM.
