Abstract
In this paper, we address the problem of direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation using single channel. Based on cyclostationarity, the signal model for DOA estimation using single channel is formulated, and the Single Channel Cyclic Multiple Signal Classification (SCC-MUSIC) algorithm is proposed. The cyclic autocorrelation matrix, other than the covariance matrix, is used in the proposed method, which shows a higher resolution limit than the existing single channel MUSIC algorithm because of using signal selective property at cyclic frequency domain. Moreover, the proposed algorithm applies to both the narrowband and wideband sources. Computer simulations have been done and the results are compared with the existing single channel MUSIC algorithm and multi-channel MUSIC algorithm.
