Abstract

A large amount of experimental information on the polarization of protons and deuterons in interactions involving small number of nucleons contributed significantly to the present understanding of few-nucleon systems. However, similar data on the polarization of 3He particles are practically limited to only few experiments with polarized 3He targets. With the availability of the 33 MeV polarized 3He beam from the University of Birmingham Radial Ridge Cyclotron it was of prime interest to obtain such data for targets with A=1 to 4.
