Abstract
We have applied our asymptotic Green function approximation (AGFA) to calculate the integrated cross sections for the elastic as well as the inelastic transitions (1s−1s, 1s−2s, 1s−2p m : m = 0, ±1) in hydrogen atoms by electron impact. The calculated results are compared with experimental observations and other theoretical predictions.
