Abstract

A simple model of the conduction mechanism, with the assumption of a non-parabolic conduction band, has been applied to wide band gap, degenerate thin oxide films. The scattering mechanism is explained in terms of intergrain potential barriers and charged point defects. A comparison between theoretical results and experimental data is made for SnO 2 and CdIn 2O 4.
