Abstract

A three-dimensional Multiresolution Frequency Domain (MRFD) method is utilized to compute bistatic radar cross sections of arbitrarily shaped inhomogeneous chiral objects. The proposed formulation is successfully verified by computing the scattering of an inhomogeneous chiral cube. The advantages of the proposed method are demonstrated by comparing the results to those obtained from the Finite Difference Frequency Domain (FDFD) and Method of Moments (MoM) simulations.
