Abstract
This paper presents a rigorous full-wave analysis of the junction between a coaxial waveguide and an eccentric annular waveguide. The complete set of modes in the eccentric annular waveguide is first found with the aid of the conformal mapping technique and Bessel function addition theorem. The closed-form coupling matrix for the junction between a coaxial waveguide and an eccentric annular waveguide is derived. Sample numerical results are presented and compared with those obtained by Ansoft's HFSS.
