Abstract

Scattering and transformation of high frequency waves in plasmas are due to electron density inhomogeneities. These are the thermal fluctuations in ordinary plasmas but in dusty plasmas two additional scattering sources are present: the electrons in the shielding clouds around the charged dust particles and induced electron density fluctuations discreteness.
