Abstract

Abstract The aquatic liverwort Scapania undulata (L.) Dum. and other bryophytes (Pellia fabbroniana Rad., Fontinalis antipyretica (Hedw.) and Platyhypnidium rusciforme (Neck.) Fleisch.) grow in waters affected by mineralization zones in the Sudeten Mts (Poland). Analyses of these plants confirm the presence of geologically documented polymetallic deposits and indicate the presence of perspective polymetallic deposits in areas where no geological searching has been done.
