Abstract

This document was developed by clinical psychologists working in community older adult mental health services during Covid-19. Born out of discussions about what the profession should expect during the recovery phase, the present authors decided to write a document to inform and guide those working in psychological services on identifying and working with changes in the population’s mental health needs. This document focuses on the likely role of clinical psychology and is structured in two parts. The first part highlights the possibility of an increase in the prevalence of complicated grief before outlining how to work psychologically with it.
