Abstract

ABSTRACT This article provides an overview of the genesis, development, and features of ScanGrants, <http://www.scangrants.com/>, the free online resource, and discusses how librarians can develop inexpensive Web development projects that take advantage of the searching and categorizing skills they possess. This paper also touches on matters of copyright and the marketing of Web services outside of one's own institution and the importance for medical librarians to forge alliances with other institutional colleagues.
