Abstract

We use group analysis for studying strong turbulence. Scaling symmetry is considered in connection with the idea of an inviscid energy sink in the nonevolutionary mode k∼ 0. We found that the characteristic functional of statistical hydrodynamics has the form of Euclidean quantum field theory much like the “real” supersymmetric one. We also found the excitation of cascade in the cascade model to be the breaking of supersymmetry.
