Abstract
The conclusion talk of this conference by Procaccia pointed out the absence of meaning of such expressions as scale invariant systems or scale invariant processes in physics: only scale invariant quantities (mathematical functions) or equations can be defined with any sense. It is thus irrelevant to invoke a possible scale invariance of the cosmic matter distribution. But a scale invariance has been claimed to appear in some quantities used for its description, or in the equations governing its formation or evolution.
