Abstract
A SCADA based real-time reactive power compensation scheme has been presented in this paper to assess & improve voltage stability in electrical power system using closed loop feedback algorithm. The analysis includes power flow solution of electrical power network, identification of weaker segment of the network and the stability of has been investigated in terms of bus voltage magnitudes. This proposed SCADA based scheme for assessment and enhancement of voltage stability of power network also has been shown in this paper with reactive power compensation.
