Abstract
We analyze the saturation behavior of nearly degenerate forward four-wave mixing in a Doppler broadened vapor. Theoretical predictions as well as experiments on Cs vapor resonance line (λ=852 nm) reveal that the dynamic Stark splitting is directly observable in the case of a two-level system. Extensions to multiwave mixing are also discussed.
