Abstract
Patients in emergency departments at three suburban Michigan hospitals — Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Oakwood Annapolis Hospital in Wayne, and Oakwood Heritage Hospital in Taylor — received a promise from hospital officials recently. They would be seen by a physician and have their treatment begun within 30 minutes or they would receive a personal apology and a pair of movie tickets.
