Abstract

The organization of the practical training of dental technician students is an important factor determining the quality of the entire educational process and their future professional realization. Тhe aim of the publication is to determine the level of satisfaction of the students from the Dental Technician program at the Medical College - Varna, from the organization of the practical training in the specialty. For the purposes of the study some theoretical considerations were discussed and an anonymous survey was conducted in March 2019 through a direct individual questionnaire. The subjects of the study were 98 first-, second- and third-year students from Dental Technician program of the Medical College - Varna. In the research process we used documentary and sociological methods, graphical and comparative analysis to present the results. Upon the analysis of the results, conclusions and recommendations were made to optimize the students’ practical training structures. This publication complements and adds more to the research on the role and significance of organizing the practical training of students in the Dental Technician program.
