Introduction

Halal tourism, which adheres to Islamic principles, is gaining popularity around the world, among Muslim consumers (Mohsin et al, 2016). Muslims are encouraged to travel to observe Allah's beautiful creation in nature and meditate on the goodness of Allah's abundant gifts on humanity. As the number of Muslim visitors visiting Japan grows, so does the availability of Halal food. This study seeks to investigate how satisfied Malaysian Muslim travelers are with halal tourism facilities in Japan during their visits and stays there, in regards to prayer facilities and accommodation. To identify the level of satisfaction with prayer and accommodation facilities in Japan among Malaysian Muslim tourists, and; ii. To identify factors that lead to the satisfaction feeling towards those facilities among Malaysian Muslim tourists The objectives of this study are: i. to identify the level of satisfaction with prayer and accommodation facilities in Japan among Malaysian Muslim tourists, and; ii. to identify factors that lead to the satisfaction feeling towards those facilities among Malaysian Muslim tourists
