Abstract

Two chromatin fractions have been prepared from Eco R1-digested mouse liver nuclei. One of these, containing 7–10% of the total chromatin DNA, contains no satellite DNA. The other, constituting 9% of the total chromatin DNA, is four- to five-fold enriched in satellite DNA.
