Abstract

Prediction of kidney function and chronic kidney disease (CKD) by kidney ultrasound imaging has long been desirable in the clinical practice for its safety, convenience, and affordability. However, this application is beyond the reach of human eyes. In the renaissance era of artificial intelligence, we proposed a deep learning approach to automatically determine the level of estimated glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and CKD status.
