Abstract
Acute Interstitial Nephritis (AIN) is reported to precede Chronic Kidney Disease of uncertain etiology (CKDu), from Mesoamerican countries and Sri Lanka (1, 2). We present results of a follow up biopsies in patients with AIN and no evidence for underlying etiology from CKDu endemic regions of Sri Lanka.
