Abstract

In August 2013, the South African (SA) Society of Psychiatrists (SASOP) published their treatment guidelines for psychiatric disorders. We commend the authors and editors for completing such a huge undertaking. In the spirit of ongoing peer review, we would like to point out a few issues that may warrant consideration for future guideline updates.
