Abstract

It was September 2015 in the Berg, and the hills were alive with the sound of physics — geophysics, to be more precise. True to form, the South African Geophysical Association (SAGA) 14th Biennial Conference and Exhibition was held in one of the most majestic locations South Africa has to offer: the Central Drakensberg. Champagne Sports Resort, nestled in the foothills of the Drakensberg below looming basaltic cliffs, played host to this year's event.
