Abstract
Sartorius AG has finalized plans for a restructuring programme aimed at reducing the firm’s personnel costs by €8 million and materials expenditure by €2 million. Initially announced in April (see Filtration Industry Analyst, May 2003), it has taken two months of intensive negotiations between Sartorius’s board and its employee council to determine the details of the programme.
