Abstract

This article incorporates a reflection on care, as action and relationship, which operates fundamentally in the private sphere and which has historically been assigned to women. The arrival of SARS-CoV-2 -better known as COVID-19- and forced confinement intensified various inequalities associated with care, which aggravated the conditions of women. This was expressed in task overloads for women because of the lack of co-responsibility in care work, the absence of public policies, the lack of incorporation of men to this work; all these were maximized by job insecurity that many women are facing.
