Abstract
Rationale: Sarcopenia, as well as malnutrition, is common in older people and is associated with disability, reduced mobility, hospitalization, and various comorbidities. The purpose of this study was to assess the risk for sarcopenia in older malnourished hospitalized adults to ensure more effective treatments and better recovery.
