Abstract

A 4-yr-old boy with botryoid rhabdomyosarcoma of the bile ducts, who was treated by excision of the extrahepatic bile ducts, has survived for nearly 4 yr without evidence of recurrence. Early operation, relatively radical excision, and radio- and chemotherapy may have been responsible for the apparently successful outcome.
