Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this article is to describe and analyze Sara Pataanguna's leadership values and apply these concepts in the context of globalization. It aims to highlight the relevance of Sara Pataanguna's leadership model in overcoming global challenges and promoting sustainable international cooperation. Method: This research utilizes qualitative methods, employing an analytical approach to history, literature, and the social context of the Sultanate of Buton. The focus is on leadership values that reflect a balance between self-nobility, state interests, and religious primacy. Result and Conclusion: The main finding of this study is that Sara Pataanguna's leadership model can be effectively adopted to overcome global challenges and promote sustainable international cooperation. By emphasizing values such as feeling, empathy, respecting cultural plurality, and supporting international cooperation, leaders can build respectful relationships, overcome inequality, and promote social justice in the era of globalization. Implication of the Research: The research suggests that Sara Pataanguna's leadership values offer practical guidance for leaders in navigating the complexities and challenges of globalization. By incorporating these values into their leadership approach, leaders can address global issues such as climate change, international conflict, and economic inequality with integrity and justice. Originality/Value: This article provides significant value by highlighting the relevance of Sara Pataanguna's leadership model in the modern context of globalization. It emphasizes the importance of cultural diversity, international cooperation, and social justice in addressing global challenges and promoting sustainable development.
