Abstract

This paper proposes an algorithm for SAR ground moving target imaging and motion parameters estimation base on adjacent cross correlation function (ACCF). To derive the algorithm, the general signal model of SAR observing ground moving target is deduced first. Then, the ACCF based ground moving target motion parameters estimation algorithm is described. In the following, the range migration correction and phase compensation are realized according to the estimated motion parameters. Finally, the target is focused through the azimuth matched filtering. Compare with the traditional Keystone transform and time-frequency based methods, this algorithm does not need to handle the Doppler ambiguity problem, and can achieve motion parameters estimation without any searching procedures. Both simulated and real airborne SAR data are processed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
