Abstract

On the basis of a rich material of larvae and pupae of caddis-flies collected in two south-moravian rivulets Jihlava and Bobrava, the methods of estimation of saprobity used in Czechoslovakia were compared. These were the methods of saprobic valency by Zelinka & Marvan (1961) complemented by the saprobic index Sr of Rothschein (1959), saprobic index according to Pantle & Buck (1955) and a method by Obr (1956).
