A man aged 44 was admitted to the hematology ward of Toulouse University Hospital in April 2017 for autologous stem cell transplantation as treatment of his Hodgkin’s lymphoma
Sapovirus is responsible for acute gastroenteritis in humans and animals
A study on a cohort of 16 renal transplant patients suffering from chronic diarrhoea associated with calicivirus, included 1 patient who was sapoviruspositive; his diarrhoea lasted 147 days and virus continued to be shed into his gut until day 157 [54]
