Abstract
We report here the design of a sample tube for NMR spectroscopy at medium pressure. The design incorporates a pressure relief mechanism that permits the safe handling of solutions at moderate pressures (up to approximately 10 atm) and has been tested extensively for NMR measurements involving condensed gases as NMR solvents
