Abstract
This paper presents the basic idea of multisensor information fusion. The description of the Gauss-Laplacian pyramid as a basis of some image fusion methods is given. Five pixel-level image fusion methods are described. The fusion techniques have been tested with different images which represent possible different fields of fusion application - medicine, remote sensing military and police applications...
