Abstract
Key Points Single center study demonstrates the safety of same day discharge in intracardiac echocardiography guided watchman left atrial appendage occlusion. The study also reported that female sex, older age and longer procedure duration are predictors of non‐same day discharge. Standardization of intracardiac echocardiography for left atrial appendage closure devices is imperative before mainstream adoption.
