Abstract

Among the 104 resolutions considered by the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association, meeting in Atlantic City, June 20–24, 1971, was the following, introduced by William Y. Rial, M.D., of Pennsylvania:Whereas, the American Medical Association recognizes the importance of improved communication with medical students; andWhereas, the AMA should have the full benefit of such communication to the House of Delegates through the voices of the delegates from the Student American Medical Association; therefore be it Resolved, that the Constitution and Bylaws of the AMA be revised so that full rights and privileges of delegates be granted . . .
