Abstract
Our on going research on Erythrina alkaloids has demonstrated their potential applications in several areas of research and this has justified to look for improved sources of them. In this paper we searched the alkaloid production under elicitation of the cell suspension culture of E. americana and 10-10, 10-12 and 10-14 M salicylic acid (SA) was added 7 days after subculture.
