Abstract
In order to monitor real-time running state and solve the overloaded security issues of tower crane, the monitoring critical parameters of tower crane are analyzed and the structure about tower crane safety monitoring and protection system based on the ARM and multi-sensor is concluded. The software system was designed with the modular structure and multithread technology and friendly interface were designed, which show the real-time key information of tower crane safety monitoring and protection system. The system was verified in Xiang Tan Jiang Lu Electric Group Company Limited and the working stability of sensors and real time display function of the acquisition information system were tested.
