Safety Design and Analysis Method of single event effects for Civil Aircraft

Abstract

The Single event effects on the safety of civil aircraft flight is getting more and more attention. This paper proposes a safety design and analysis method considering single event effects based on the development process of civil aircraft, focusing on the safety protection design requirements and quantitative analysis methods. The purpose is to avoid catastrophic failure conditions caused by single event effects or to reduce the risk to an acceptable level.
