AbstractThe need to reduce aircraft accidents and incidents is paramount in general aviation, specifically, those attributed to aeronautical decision-making and poor judgment. Accident statistics confirms aeronautical decision-making and poor judgment as a significant contributor to general aviation accidents and incidents (Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association, 2010). The absence of a positive safety culture in general aviation to include training organizations affects pilot judgment and decision making.
