Abstract
This paper outlines a University of Tennessee indepen dent study of the safety and reliability of the Clinch River Breeder Reactor Plant in Oakridge, Tennessee. The study uses several kinds of models, and analytical computer pro grams, one of which (BACFIRE) is briefly described and illustrated.
