Abstract
Aims: Concomitant surgical AF ablation is a safe and feasible procedure recommended in guidelines. However many surgeons are restrictive in performing AF ablation in patients with poor LVEF. The impact of Cox Maze procedure in this population is not well documented in literature. Aim of this study was to investigate the influence of surgical AF ablation in patients with severely reduced LVEF (< 35%).
