Abstract
Purpose: Polymer-free-drug-eluting stents (PF-DES) were developed to reduce the risk of stent thrombosis in patients receiving percutaneous coronary intervention. However, the performance of this new stent technology compared with durable polymer DES (DP-DES) has not been well described. This study aimed to perform a meta-analysis of randomised, controlled trials (RCTs) comparing patients with PF-DES versus DP-DES.
